THE Dr. Nikos Mazarakis is Professor of Marine Meteorology, visiting professor at Uninettuno University/Institute for International Maritime Studies, lecturer at KEDIVIM University of Western Macedonia and General Office Manager of the Greek Office of the weather company STORMGEO. At the same time, he collaborates as a research associate at National Observatory of Athens. He is one of the main presenters on meteorology in the program "Enhancing maritime security spirit in the Eastern Mediterranean". He has to his credit more than 5500 hours of teaching in the subject of Nautical Meteorology while in the past he has collaborated with major Athenian newspapers, radio and television stations.
