Terms of participation in the seminars

1. The seminars are held in modern rooms, with a video projector and powerpoint. The choice of the room depends on the number of participants and their geographical distribution, so that access serves the majority. The location is announced no later than one week before the seminar.

 2. To attend the seminars for professional seafarers or for selected seminars that are specifically mentioned in their announcement and which are organized in Athens, no advance payment is required. For seminars aimed at private individuals (e.g. Greek Seas seminar, Agricultural Meteorology, etc.), or for seminars aimed at professional sailors and held except Athens, in order to complete your registration for the seminar, it is necessary to pay via PayPal or via a deposit to the National Bank or the Piraeus Bank of the amount of €30. If you do not attend the seminar, the advance payment is not lost but is transferred to a future seminar on a date of your choice. This condition is valid until June of the current academic term. In any case, the participation is paid on the day of the seminar.

3. For the seminar to be held, the minimum number of participants must be 3 people or more. In case the above number is not filled or due to force majeure, the seminar is cancelled. In this case, the amount of the advance is credited in full to your bank account that you will indicate to us. However, if you wish, you can join the next seminar you wish. The advance payment is refunded no later than 5 working days from the scheduled date of the canceled seminar.

4. In the event that you wish to cancel your participation, the deposit is only refunded if the cancellation is made within the time limit specified in the confirmation of registration that you receive by email in the manner described in condition 3.

6. In the node if and when some personal information is requested, these are used for operational service purposes for the participants in the seminar and are used exclusively from www.meteomarine.gr without being provided to third parties.
