On Tuesday, December 19, 2017, it was held at the premises of Greek Rescue Team of Attica seminar on Marine Meteorology. The seminar was presented by Dr. Nikos Mazarakis. The participants had the opportunity to learn: (1) the modern way in which weather forecasts are made nowadays, (2) the way in which we can make a forecast for wind and rain, (3) the way in which they can learn the current weather conditions in the business environment and (4) how storm clouds are recognized, how we can protect ourselves from lightning and how we can monitor the development of storms. We would like to thank the EOD Attica for their invitation, its members for the interest they showed during the seminar, and we wish the members good strength in their important and always voluntary effort.
