The best weather apps and more for Android

In recent years, most people now use smartphones and tablets. As a result, hundreds of weather applications have been created. At MeteoMarine, we have researched and presented the best weather applications for Android devices, which are mostly aimed at seafarers.

So let's begin:

1.  Sea Storm: Nice and simple application that provides us with official advisories and charts for tropical cyclones in the North Atlantic and Northeast Pacific. It is based on NOAA forecasts.
2. SailGrib: Very useful application (there is also a free version) that decodes gribfiles and thus gives us weather forecasts for the entire world. It is based on the global American GFS forecast model.
3. Pocket Gib Lite: Similar app to sailgrib
4. Marine weather: All Metarea in one application, it gives us the ability to have verbal forecasts throughout the world.
5. NOAA Free Now: Extremely useful application as it contains all the official information and warnings from NOAA and OPC as well as specially processed satellite images.
6. Hurricane Software: Nice application again for tropical cyclones.
7. NOAA Smart Buoys: NOAA has developed a vast network of automatic floating weather stations. With this application you can view the measurements from this network at any time.
8. HF Weather Fax for marine: Although there is a special seminar on how not to we receive the maps via facsimile (information here), this application allows us to download official maps from our mobile.
