Another creative educational year is coming to an end. The main milestones of the past year were the following:<\/p>\n

Our two-day seminar entitled Modern Marine Meteorology<\/a> In July, it was approved as a separate course, as part of the certification of the DANAOS Assessment and Training Center as a Lloyd's Register Approved Training Center.<\/p>\n

THE HELMEPA<\/a> extended our collaboration for the next year 2017, with a new seminar that will concern the way in which sailors work with nautical weather charts.<\/p>\n

The new companies for the year 2016 that chose one of our seminars were the following: VIAMAX, Athenian Sea Carriers<\/a>, Atalanta Marine<\/a>, Almi Tankers SA<\/a>, Minerva Marine Inc.<\/a>, RINA Register<\/a>All companies here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The news radio station BHMA FM 99.5<\/a> of the Lambraki Journalism Organization chose the professor of marine meteorology, Dr. N. Mazarakis, as the station's meteorologist.<\/p>\n

Our stable collaboration with the company continued in 2016. StormGeo,<\/a> with the program Bon Voyage System<\/a> to be consistently chosen by more and more shipping companies for their ships.<\/p>\n

We would like to warmly thank all our sailors and ordinary people who participated in our seminars. We would also like to thank all the shipping and non-shipping companies for their cooperation, as well as the Hellenic Society for the Protection of the Marine Environment, for recognizing our educational work.<\/p>\n

The promise for the new year can only be one. We continue with the same zeal and dedication in the very sensitive field of Nautical and General Meteorology, always informed of all modern developments.<\/p>\n
